Refund policy

At Arctic Lavvo, we prioritize excellent service and strive to deliver quality. Mistakes can happen, even for us, but you can rest assured that we will make things right.

Return

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return cost
Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
If the product has been customized for you, the right to return the product will no longer apply.


Damages, issues and warranty
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If there is an issue with the product, the buyer must notify the seller within a reasonable time after discovering or should have discovered the defect. Complaints are always considered timely if made within 2 months of the defect being discovered or reasonably should have been discovered. Complaints can be made no later than two years after the buyer took possession of the product. If the product or parts of it are intended to last significantly longer than two years, the complaint period is five years.

The buyer can choose between requiring the defect to be corrected or the delivery of a similar item. However, the seller may contest the buyer's claim if fulfilling it is impossible or would cause the seller disproportionate costs. Repair or replacement must be carried out within a reasonable time. In general, the seller is not entitled to make more than two attempts to rectify the same defect.

The buyer may demand an appropriate price reduction if the product is not repaired or replaced. This means the proportion between the reduced and agreed price should correspond to the proportion between the product's value in its defective and contractual condition. In certain cases, the price reduction may instead be set to reflect the defect's significance to the buyer.

If the product is not repaired or replaced, the buyer may terminate the purchase, provided the defect is not insignificant.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
