A single-pole lavvo is easy to set up, provides a completely new experience in nature, and gives you the opportunity to create your own sanctuary in the great outdoors.

Here is a step-by-step guide to setting up a single-bar lavvo:

1. Measure up: Use a measuring tape and attach a peg/plug to each end. Stick one peg into the ground in the middle of the lavvo. Use the other end to measure where each peg attachment will be attached.

2. Set up the framework: Place the canvas on the ground with the zipper closed and the bottom edge forming a circle. Knock the dowels into the adjustable fasteners.

3. Install the center pole: Open the zipper and insert the center pole into the top and raise the lavvo.

4. Use the rain hood: If you are going to use the rain hood, we recommend putting it in place before you raise the lavvo. It will be possible to adjust the opening in relation to the wind direction.

5. Place the bottom: If you have ordered a bottom for the lavvo, place it in place under the center pole and secure it in the dowels. The bottom comes with a split that can be opened if you want to have a fire.

6. Tighten: Go around the lavvo and tighten the plug fasteners equally around the entire lavvo.

7. Secure the lavvo: If necessary, secure the lavvo with guy ropes. If guy ropes are used, we recommend guying around the entire lavvo.

Now you are ready to enjoy your sanctuary in nature! Don't forget to take the weather into account, and bring the necessary precautions for a safe and comfortable experience. Without a rain hat or with a partially open rain hat, you can light a fire like in a traditional lavvo, or the lavvo can be adapted for stove use.
