The Diligense gives you the freedom to live and travel in the mountains without spending time setting up camp. You drive with the Diligense permanently pitched, allowing all your gear to remain inside the sled during transport. Reindeer herders have used the Diligense for years during their spring migration, and more and more people are discovering the benefits of its simplicity. With the Diligense, you live comfortably and safely – and can move at any time without the hassle of packing down.

TENT CANOPY
The Diligense is stable to drive with and follows smoothly behind the snowmobile. The tent itself stands firm, even in challenging weather conditions. It can be transported upright on a trailer behind a car, but may also be disassembled and flat-packed for summer storage.

STOVE PIPE OPENING
The Diligense comes with your choice of placement for the stove pipe opening. We recommend heating with either a gas or wood stove.

REKKA SLED
The sled base is produced by Sledespesialisten AS in Børselv, Finnmark – a company known for its high-quality, locally crafted sleds. With more than 30 years of experience, they have developed and tested sleds used by private adventurers, reindeer herding communities, the tourism industry, and research institutions in Northern Norway and Svalbard. Rekka sleds are renowned for their driving comfort, thanks to skis that move independently of the platform. The drawbar also features two-way suspension for smoother handling. Each sled is delivered with two coats of stain and a lacquered drawbar.

FRAME
The frame is built solidly to prevent twisting during transport and is stained to match the Rekka sled.

Everything is delivered fully assembled and ready to use. For extra insulation and comfort, an inner tent can be added (available at an additional cost of NOK 10,752 + VAT).
