GLA is a new Norwegian intelligent sensor for heavy fuel gases such as Propane and Butane, as well as carbon dioxide CO2 and thus carbon monoxide CO from exhaust. It is ideal for detecting gas leaks, exhaust and smoke, as well as monitoring air quality in living spaces. Since the alarm is battery-powered, it is very location-friendly and easy to install.

Early warning
Gas leaks can come from gas stoves, fireplaces, grills and other appliances. The gas can ignite when the concentration exceeds the LEL (Lower Explosion Limit). GLA warns well in advance of this happening, already at 10-15% of the LEL.

Exhaust and smoke can come from engines, heaters, fireplaces and fires. GLA will warn of carbon dioxide CO2 already at an increase of less than 5000ppm. This corresponds to a maximum of 25ppm carbon monoxide CO in the exhaust from an engine. Less carbon monoxide from open heat and fire.
